Grattis till födelsedag!

I think to write the next articles in German...

I´m back in Germany since 5 weeks. - The week before was the last long step from Sweden in my old hood of Germay. My mother's birthday was the reason to be back on the sixth of October and so we arrived in morning in the village. It was different from the first time [2007-09-06] and the night was too short. I drove with my car in the city, to buy nothing - just for the moment of loneliness in a crowded mall.
The birthday party continued the crowded feeling of home with my whole family. I was a displaced person in a czech movie. The following night ride to Leipzig was like a flush.

Afterwards a bottle vine and public house party. I met people which were lost for long time and now they are lost again. Did I meet you? - Just a night or a dream?
I met my past and had no idea what to do...
At the next morning, on the way back to Jena, was a hitchhiker on the road. Just a short talk about the life... You speak with people and you expect NOTHING and you will never see them again. That's life - nice.
In the next weeks the university started and the routine took in all my power. On the otherside I found some breakouts of this new-old dependent stituation. It's starting winter in the thuringian mountains and snow is falling. Let's go in the forrest to enjoy the silence of a slowly life - just only a idea...

It will not be the last picture of SWEDEN!

It was a cloudy day in a strange colourful city. The first step was the welcome-money from a bank in the western part. Long lines of 'Ossis' in front of the 'Commerzbank'. People with imitation leather jackets and the wish to buy things which smell like WEST. I ate my first banana and kiwi in a new world. West-Berlin, the part of the free world with the white and high-rise buildings, new video cassette recorders and turkish people. On this day I was the first and last time in a German mosque, but this is an other story...
The nightly way back to thuringia was much longer and my head was full of impressions from the 'brave new world'.

1990-10-03 Day of the German Reunification

I was on the way to WEST-Berlin, in a crowded train full of 'Ossis'. My first real contact with the capitalism came closer by every station - the wall was open since 2 days. More about WEST-Berlin tomorrow... we arrived in the morning [1989-11-12].
